  • Il Sars-CoV-2 causa negli adulti una malattia aggressiva e spesso letale. Resta da risolvere un quesito: il Covid può provocare danni anche nei neonati?
  • Sembra di sì. Ma a influire negativamente sullo sviluppo cerebrale del bambino pare non sia il Sars-CoV-2, piuttosto lo stress associato alla pandemia provato dei genitori.
  • Gran parte degli esperti pensano comunque che i bimbi che  mostrano un ritardo nello sviluppo cognitivo poi si metteranno alla pari con gli altri, col passare dei mesi.
