Il padre aspettava che la figlia uscisse dallo spogliatoio, alla fine del suo primo allenamento di basket. Uno degli allenatori era un ragazzo della prima squadra. Il padre l'aveva già visto, era alto e dinoccolato e schiacciava con una mano sola.
«È morto Bill Russell», gli disse, tanto per rompere il ghiaccio.
«Ho sentito dire che era proprio un grande».
«Il più grande centro della storia», precisò il padre.
«E in cosa primeggiava?».
